On Tuesday after having dinner at an area restaurant, my car wouldn't start. With the hood up, I kept hoping someone would come by and offer help. That someone turned to be a Larry Brown, who was headed north on Murdock Avenue.
He yelled and asked if I needed help and I said yes. He turned around and came back to the parking lot. After starting my car with jumper cables, he offered to follow me to a parts store. I thanked him and told him God would be smiling on him and he responded with "He has been good to me."
Wouldn't it be a nicer world if more people realized that God has been good to them and would share that with others just as Larry Brown shared with me.
